Our club embodies the artistic spirit of the Tang, Song, and Ming dynasties, combining traditional Chinese calligraphy with diverse art forms. The Tang Dynasty (618-907) was the golden age of Chinese culture, where poetry, calligraphy, and painting reached their peak. The Song Dynasty (960-1279) saw the rise of literati painting, emphasizing artistic conception and brushwork. The Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) refined these art forms to perfection.
We draw inspiration from these three glorious eras to create unique multicultural artistic experiences. Our approach combines traditional techniques with modern perspectives, allowing students to explore Chinese painting, watercolor, digital art, and Chinese New Year Couplets while learning classical calligraphy.
