A haven for writers & artists
This club is perfect for anyone who is an avid reader, everyday writer, artist, or is in need of an opportunity to get their writing published in DIY zines made by students from our school (or all at once). In Inkwell, you will get to collaborate with fellow students, teachers, university students, and even published writers through workshops and guest speakers. Additionally, your peer-edited piece will also have a shot to compete for an opportunity to get it made into a zine and displayed in the library in our Inkwell Writing Competition. Winning entries will also receive further assistance for submission to outside competitions. Students need to show a creative writing sample.
Members collaborate with students, teachers, university students, and published writers through workshops and guest speakers. Winning entries from the Inkwell Writing Competition receive assistance for outside competition submissions and publication in the library.
“The inkwell is our meeting place – a space to create, share, and inspire.”
