Traditional Chinese Medicine

This Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) club is committed to establish a systematic and diverse learning platform and will organize a series of distinctive activities that combine professionalism with practicality together. Students will not only have the opportunities to participate in the production of traditional handicrafts such as Chinese herbal medicine bracelets and sachets, which they can experience the unique charm of Chinese medicines, but also delve into the field of herbal research. Eventually, we will compile a TCM illustrated book, through systematic learning of the identification, growth characteristics, and medicinal values of herbs, as students' understanding of and interest in TCM will also be enhanced by these processes. Meanwhile, the club offers advanced courses such as acupuncture technique study and TCM pathology analysis (no real trials on real person in order to prevent ricks, we may use human models). Through theoretical teachings and practical operations, members will master the thinking methods of syndrome differentiation and treatment and learn to scientifically formulate personalized TCM treatment plans.

Members create traditional handicrafts like herbal medicine bracelets and sachets, conduct herbal research, and compile a TCM illustrated book. Advanced courses cover acupuncture techniques and pathology analysis using models, with theoretical teachings and practical operations helping members master TCM thinking methods and treatment planning.
