Battle of the Books

Battle of the Books is a club led by teachers and librarians, founded as a way to help children find more joy and companionship in reading. Over the year, club members read and discuss a selection of popular novels shared by readers all around the world. The club culminates in the "Battle of the Books" competition, where each BoB club competes to answer the most questions about the books they read.

Debate

This club is dedicated to organizing students who love and participate in public forum debates into a group that would have the opportunity for mutual assistance, to practice debating, and prepare coherently for public forum debate competitions as a school team.

Model United Nations

Students will learn to debate, write United Nations resolutions, and talk about timely events happening all around the world related to international peace and security, international economics, and other issues related to the international community.

Philosophy

Philosophy club will act as the place for students interested in philosophy to discuss various topics linked to this discipline. The club's aim is to improve the atmosphere in the school as well as introducing the discipline to more students.

Shibei Newspaper

Shibei Chinese Literature Club will serve as a place for talent to be nurtured. Students will develop their passion for Chinese literature, art, and design.

Spanish

The main goal of this club is to provide participants with the skills needed to communicate in a Spanish conversation, other skills in Spanish, and a basic understanding of Spanish culture.

Psychology

Psychology club will act as the place for students interested in psychology to discuss various topics linked to this discipline. The club's aim is to improve the atmosphere in the school as well as introducing the discipline to more students.

Biology Club

Biology club is a student led organization that was found in 2022. We mainly focuses on exploring the beauty of life by building vivariums, fish tanks, and aquariums that mimic the natural environment as much as possible. Currently under we have constructed a tropical aquarium that is mostly self-sustaining with filtering system. pH and nitrogen monitors. Last year we constructed a self sustaining tropical vivarium.

TED x BISZ Club

At the TED club, we engage in a variety of activities focused on exploring and discussing ideas worth spreading. We typically gather to watch and analyze TED Talks, which feature speakers sharing innovative ideas and perspectives on a wide range of topics, from science and technology to art, culture, and ski- i mean social issues. Overall, the TED club provides a platform for individuals to come together, learn from inspiring speakers, and engage in meaningful conversations that challenge our thinking and expand our horizons.

History of Warfare and Diplomacy

History of Warfare and Diplomacy is about the study of History,games,anything you can find... It involves for the study of culture and identity and the exploration of political ideologies as applied to foreign affairs.

Pre-Med

This club is intended to inspire students to pursue a career in medicine or related topics.Pre-Med Club is an excellent medium to meet and connect with students alike.In the club we perform research, case studies, subject realted lectures, dissections, design impactful awareness campaigns and offer first aid, CPR and AED machine training to the BASIS community.
