Books
“Heartfelt, personal, and real—this book is a gift.”
* “Affirming representation of fatness. . . . Fipps’s use of verse is as effective as it is fitting; Ellie dreams of becoming a storyteller and poet ‘to help people feel what it’s like/ to live in/ someone else’s skin.’ A triumphant and poignantly drawn journey toward self-acceptance and self-advocacy.”
“Good mysteries are shockingly difficult to write. That’s why I’m so thrilled to encounter Gillian Goerz’s new ‘Shirley and Jamila’ series. Firmly rooted in reality, the book tips its hat low to Sherlock Holmes but maintains an originality entirely of its own.”
“Real Friends is honest and heartfelt, and sure to be loved by anyone who has ever felt like an outsider. The artwork is stunning, too!”

"Intriguing story exploring cultural heritage and adjusting to loss and change. Subtle LGBT themes present."
